2 killed, 26 injured in terrorist attacks in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor, SANA – A girl and a woman were killed and 26 others were injured in a terrorist attack with shells and bombs on al-Joura neighborhood in Deir Ezzor city on Tuesday.

SANA’s reporter in Deir Ezzor said that ISIS terrorists targeted al-Joura neighborhood with a number of shells and bombs which they dropped using RC drone at an area where people were gathered to get drinking water, claiming the lives of a girl and a woman and injuring 26 others, most of them children and women.

Assistant Director of Deir Ezzor Health Directorate Dr. Akram Al-Jouri told SANA that 26 persons, most of them children and women, were rushed to al-Assad Hospital and the Military Hospital in the city, and that 9 of them were in critical situation which required surgical intervention, while first aid was provided to the rest of them
