Army units on Monday directed smashing blows to terrorists in several areas around the country, killing many and injuring others.

An armed terrorist group assassinated Head of Criminal Court in Deir Ezzor, Judge Zuher Tweir.

 

In a statement, Ministry of Justice condemned the assassination crime, affirming that the perpetrators would be soon brought to justice.

 

several days ago, terrorists abducted Judge Zuher Tweir while he was going to work before they assassinated him today.

Terrorists assassinate one of Bakara al-Jabal tribe’s dignitary in Hasaka countryside

An armed terrorist group assassinated Basher Mohammad al-Mahmoud who was one of Bakara al-Jabal tribe’s dignitary and known of his national stances in rejecting terrorists’ crimes and attacks against citizens’ properties in Hiteen area in northern countryside of Hasaka.

A source in the province told SANA that authorities found on Monday the body of al-Mahmoud inside a car parked on the international road in Hiteen area with gunshot in the head.

 

Terrorists killed in Daraa

 

A military source told SANA that the army units targeted terrorists’ dens and gatherings in the towns of al-Ghariyeh, Saida, al-Jeza, al-Taiba and al-Nou’aimeh in Daraa countryside, inflicting heavy losses upon them.

 

The source added to SANA reporter that among the dead terrorists were Maher al-Haj and Amir al-Aouimer.

 

Army inflict heavy losses upon terrorists in Aleppo

 

Units of the armed forces carried out operations against terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Aleppo, killing and injuring scores of them.

 

A military source told SANA that the army units killed and injured many terrorists in the neighborhoods of al-Marja, Karm Miser, Qadi Asqar, al-Sukari, al-Haidariyeh and al-Jandoul in the city, in addition to destroying a number of their cars along with the weapons and ammunition inside them.

 

The source pointed out that other army units killed all members of an armed terrorist group in the industrial city, in addition to inflicting heavy losses upon them in the villages and towns of Fafen, Babeis, al-Atareb and in the area surrounding the central prison of Aleppo.

 

Attempts of terrorist acts foiled in Homs

 

Army units foiled a terrorists’ attempt of detonating two explosives on Abu al-Alaya-al-Massoudiyeh road, killing big numbers of terrorists, some of whom are Lebanese, Saudis and Chechens in towns and villages of Homs.

 

A military source said that terrorists’ dens were destroyed in the villages of al-Dar al-Kabira and al-Khalediyeh with all weapons and ammunition inside, while army units killed terrorists infiltrating into al-Arshouna and al-Salam al-Gharbi in the eastern countryside.

 

The source added that army units destroyed a car loaded with ammunition and explosives near Salim village in Talbisa village, and foiled a terrorists’ attempt of detonating two explosives on the road between Abu al-Alaya and al-Massoudiyeh villages.

 

The source pointed out that army units killed 36 terrorists, most of whom are Lebanese, Saudis and Chechens, in Dahrat Allousheh, Dahrat Jabalta and to the west of the archeological tower in al-Zara village.

 

Army units eliminate scores of terrorists in Damascus Countryside

 

Units of the armed forces killed scores of terrorists, most of them affiliated to the so-called “Islamic Front” and “al-Ansar Brigade”, including non-Syrians in Damascus Countryside.

 

Sources told SANA that the army units destroyed a terrorist car loaded with weapons and ammunition near Saar factory for detergents, most of them affiliated to the so-called “Islamic Front” in Adra al-Balad.

 

The sources added that other army units killed scores of terrorists to the south of teacher building in Joubar neighborhood and in the towns of al-Moleiha, Deir al-Assafer, Zebden, Saqba and Erbin, most of them affiliated to the so-called “al-Ansar Brigade”.

 

Other army units killed 20 terrorists in Khan al-Sheeh and its farms, in addition to storming terrorists’ dens in Darayaa city which resulted in the killing of scores of them.

 

In another context, the engineering units began to dismantle the explosive devices in the western part of Harasta near al-Qaboun and Barzeh farms, after accomplishing the national reconciliation in the area in preparation for the citizen’s to return.

 

11 citizens including 4 students injured in terrorist mortar attack in Damascus Countryside

 

Eleven citizens, four of them students, were injured in a terrorist mortar attack which targeted the town of Jaramana in Damascus Countryside.

 

A source at the Police Command told SANA that nine mortar rounds fired by terrorists fell in al-Madares Street and the neighborhoods of al-Wahda, al-Baladiya, al-Janayen and al-Rawda in the town, causing injuries of varying severity to 11 civilians including 4 students.

 

The attack also caused considerable material damage to cars and shops.

 

The source added that terrorists also fired 3 shells on the Police Hospital in Harasta, causing material damage to the building without casualties among the medical staff.

 

In the same context, another shell landed in Masaken Barzeh neighborhood, causing material damage.

 

Army foils terrorists’ attempt to detonate explosive devices in Idleb countryside

 

Units of the armed forces carried out operations against terrorists’ dens and gatherings in Idleb countryside, killing and injuring many of them.

 

A military source told SANA that the army units killed scores of terrorists in Tal Salmo, Abu Duhour and al-Mjas in the countryside.

 

The source added that other army units destroyed a number of cars equipped with heavy machineguns in Bkafloun village.

 

Meanwhile, an army unit foiled terrorists’ attempt to detonate a number of explosive devices planted on Sailun- Bkafloun road.

 

In the same context, the army units foiled terrorists’ attempt to enter a booby-trapped car to Jsir al-Shoghour city.
